It is my hope to bring out emotions in viewers by using color, light, and angles, to tell short stories in still frames from the sky. Below are some of my favorite photos of all time.
Please enjoy,

A smattering of fall colors seen from the sky during October in Michigan.
Contrasting textures and color between the stillness of the inland lake and the conifer trees reaching for the sun.
Facing a convincing argument from a headwind to turn around, two kayakers equipped with paddles and egos not easily dissuaded charge ahead to catch up to their friends.
The Ludington North Breakwater Pier reaches to high five the S.S. Badger whenever it returns home from Wisconsin.

The Big Sable Point Lighthouse is worth every step of the 1.5mile walk to get to it.

Seemingly disinterested in lending itself to the camera's cause, a bald eagle floats silently down the shore.

The Jupiter, Florida lighthouse is a familiar face to fishermen and boaters alike in the southeastern part of the Sunshine State.
The 6th Street Bridge works overtime while the sun starts its day in a hemisphere down the road.

LMCU Ballpark waves hello to passersby on 131 and the Grand River every day.

Ever seen a lighthouse from directly above? Me neither til now.

Memorial Day Weekend on Lake Wylie will always hold a place in my heart. A low country boil and pig roast bring friends and family from far and wide together.

A quiet evening on the lake with pizza for dinner, ice cream for dessert, and card games til we can't keep our eyes open.

The Big Sable Lighthouse keeps watch over the northwestern shores of Michigan.

The Sullivan's Island Lighthouse keeps watch over the seas and the shoreline, providing a familiar landmark for beach goers to navigate with just the same as ships.

Charleston, South Carolina is one of the most enjoyably walkable places I've ever seen.

A lonely sailboat on it's way to find friendship with the open water of Lake Michigan.

The buildings on the west side of the Grand River make an attempt to grow their square footage with their shadows, while those on the east side wave goodnight to the sun.

The Charleston Battery used to fend off unwelcome visitors with cannons but has now become friendly to all who walk its paths.

Late night practice with the hope to be perfect.

The wind walks across the water in while pedestrians and motorists alike venture up and down the Charleston Battery.

Boats at the ready to quickly reach the ocean and provide riders with some time in the sun.

The Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge stretches its wide reach to help pedestrians and motorists arrive safely at home.

Someone spilled gasoline on the clouds and decided to light a match.

A vein of color streaks across deciduous trees in northwest Michigan October.

A busy Sunday at Holland, Michigan's Tunnel Park leaves little room for personal space, but with free rent for the day beachgoers can't turn it down.

Lake Michigan extends its reach to anywho venture into its waters, indiscriminately welcoming all who come to it.
